Anya Taylor-Joy reveals psyched truth about her shaded head for latest Mad Max role as she poses topless for stunning magazine shoot

Anya Taylor-Joy looked stunning when she posed for Vogue Australia without a top on for the June issue.

Anya Taylor-Joy looked sensational as she posed topless for Vogue Australia with her long blonde hair on show, but said she was 'psyched' to shave her head for her new Mad Max film

For the magazine, the 28-year-old actor is seen sitting in the sun with her arms around herself in a pair of black high-waisted shorts.

The actress said she was “psyched” to have almost shaved her head for her part as Furiosa in her new movie, A Mad Max Saga, which came out on Friday. Her long blonde hair was seen resting gently on her shoulders and back.

Anya insisted she was ready to defiantly chop her tresses off but the movie's director George Miller put a stop to her plans (seen in character as Furiosa in the film)

Anya said she was ready to cut her hair off to show her displeasure, but George Miller, the director of the movie, stopped her.

Chris Hemsworth, who plays Furiosa, interviewed Anya for the magazine. The 40-year-old actor asked her, “You were ready to shave your head, but George wouldn’t let you?”

Chris yelled, “I was pumped!”

There was something Anya told him, “I have always wanted to do that.”

“Listen, I’m going to be bald, and it’s going to be great,” I told everyone on my team and Dior and Tiffany.

When George saw me, he grabbed my hair and said, “Oh, that’s so beautiful.” “We can’t do it.”

It comes after the star of The Queen’s Gambit said she “gained a reputation for fighting for feminine rage.”

She also said that she is not encouraging violence, but her most recent part as Furiosa in the prequel to Mad Max: Fury Road made her angry.

Anya, who was born in the US but went to school in the UK, said that when she got home from school from the summer break, she would go to Hyde Park to read and climb trees.

The message she got at school was that everything about her was wrong, she told British GQ. It was partly because of how I looked and partly because of how strong my personality was.

“I loved something, I loved something.” I don’t have any chill at all, which I guess can be scary for some people.

“As a way to stay alive, you learn to put yourself down and be humble.” You go to the grave before anyone else.

“I’m learning that you have to stand your ground as long as you’re not hurting anyone else.”

“How do I say this?” she asked next. What’s funny is that I’ve become known for fighting for feminine rage, even though I’m not supporting violence. What I am supporting is women being seen as people.

“Our reactions aren’t always delicate or clean,” they said.

The origin story of the renegade warrior played by Charlize Theron in Fury Road is told in Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga. Taylor-Joy plays the title part and said it made her feel something.
