Sydney’s stylish excursion comes right after her stunning performance at the Met Gala, when she looked stunning as a dark brunette wearing a stunning blue Miu Miu ensemble.

The actress’s week has been exciting since it was announced that David Michôd, the film’s director, will be portraying boxer Christy Martin.

The Euphoria actress plays the 55-year-old Hall of Fame boxer in the biopic, which will have its world premiere at the 2018 Cannes Film Festival. Deadline broke the initial story about the casting.

The actress, who is nominated for an Emmy, posted a link to the Deadline piece confirming her next project on Instagram, expressing her gratitude for the opportunity to “tell Christy’s powerful story.”

“I practiced grappling and kickboxing from the age of 12 to 19,” Sydney revealed to Deadline on her training. “I’ve been dying to train, get back in the ring, and change my body.”

“Christy’s story is not an easy one; it is emotionally and physically taxing, and there is a great deal of baggage to bear.” However, I enjoy pushing myself.

“Christy Martin not only legitimized female boxing, she overcame gender stereotypes, and she fought through emotional, physical, and financial abuse,” the woman declared, expressing her appreciation for Martin and her qualifications.
