In the new Mad Max movie, she plays Furiosa, a fighter queen who lives after the end of the world.

But while Anya Taylor-Joy has shown she can be a good action heroine, it looks like she has more trouble walking in her Louboutins.

The actor, 28, lost her balance outside of London’s NoMad hotel in Covent Garden on Friday night. She tripped and fell out of her four-inch-high designer stilettos, and then she had trouble putting them back on.

Someone in her group finally helped her get back into the £645 shoes after running to help her.

Her Mad Max action double, Hayley Wright, whom she called “my sister” and “one of my best friends in the whole world” last week, might be able to help her.

The star of “The Queen’s Gambit” has not only asked Ms. Wright to walk the red carpet with her, but the two have also been seen holding hands in Hollywood.

Last Thursday, at the Cannes film festival, Ms. Taylor-Joy said, “No action movie, especially Mad Max, exists without an amazing stunt department.”

George Miller, the director, told me that when we first talked about the movie, it was very important for him that I put everything I had into it.

“However, even if you put everything you have into it, someone has already planned it, tested it, and shown you how to do it.”

“My stunt double” Hayley Wright is my sister, and she’s always been with me.

“She is now one of my best friends in the whole world! We met on this movie.”

“I did everything she did, and the most important thing was that it wasn’t an angry place; it was “I love you, I believe in you, you can do this.” Oh my God, I love Hayley.

Ms. Wright has been in movies like Wonder Woman and Aquaman and on TV shows like NCIS, American Horror Story, and Modern Family. She has also worked as a stunt double for Jodie Comer, 31, and Amber Heard, 38.

She is from Australia, but she and her husband now live in Los Angeles.

She has said in the past that beginning to compete at a high level in gymnastics got her interested in fitness at a young age.

When she was called up to work with Cirque du Soleil in Las Vegas, it was her big break. She then moved to Los Angeles to pursue a job as a stunt artist full-time.

Ms. Taylor-Joy hurt her feet on her way to the Furiosa afterparty at the BFI Imax on the South Bank, which was the film’s UK premiere.

Chris Hemsworth and Tom Burke, who play her co-stars, joined the actor, who was wearing an old red leather jacket, a black polo neck sweater and a skirt that looked like it was made from several belts.

The movie shows how Furiosa came to be. In the 2015 movie Mad Max: Fury Road, Charlize Theron played the part for the first time.

The movie comes out in UK theatres on Friday.
