As the femme fatale in her mind for British GQ’s Heroes Issue, Anya Taylor-Joy put on a very racy show. 

The 28-year-old actress is promoting Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga, which is the story of how the rogue warrior got started. For the moody shoot, she seemed to draw from her fiery character. 

Anya told the magazine that making the zombie movie helped her release her “feminine rage.” She looked like she was in great shape when she threw up her hands in a boxing pose for one picture. 

She showed off her amazing body in rubber hotpants, thigh-high boots, and a leather bomber jacket. 

A splash of red lipstick gave her look some colour, and her blonde hair was pulled back in a wet look style.  

The blonde hottie hid her hair in a black bob wig for another stunning picture. 

Before the racy shoot, she took off all of her clothes and put on a white bra and a sheer top. 

As a fashion chameleon, she changed things up again for the cover photo, going back to her natural blonde hair and thick-rimmed black glasses. 

As of right now, Anya is in Cannes supporting Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga. 

When she talked about how the part changed her, she admitted that it taught her how to “be angry” at herself. 

Anya said that being bullied at school for years had made her “self-effacing and self-deprecating.” This gives her a new boost of confidence.

She said, “As a way to stay alive, you learn to be humble and make fun of yourself.” You go to the grave before anyone else. 

“I’m learning that you have to stand your ground as long as you’re not hurting anyone else.”

Anya has already said that she quit school when she was 16 because of the abuse and started working as an actress. 

Anya grew up in Argentina for the first six years of her life. When her family moved to London, she called them “nomadic, travelling gipsies.”

She didn’t speak any English at the time, and in a previous conversation, she talked about how hard it was for her to get used to her new home country.

She talked about how she has changed over the past few years and said, “I’ve gotten a reputation for fighting for feminine rage, which is weird because I’m not promoting violence; I’m promoting women being seen as people.” 

“Sometimes our reactions aren’t pretty or clean.”

“I’ve never been angry, even though I push for women to be angry.” I was only angry when other people were in trouble for a long time. 

“This idea of “I’ve done something bad” has always been inside of me. I’m the one who is to blame if you treat me badly. 

“I am very thankful for Furiosa, because there was a time when I really felt angry at myself.”

She said that her musical partner Malcolm McRae noticed the change at home. “My husband was like, “I’ve never heard you be like this,”” she said.

This is the fifth movie in the Mad Max series. It takes place between 15 and 20 years before Bad Fury Road. 

The summary says, “Furiousa is taken from the Green Place of Many Mothers and given to a large group of bikers led by the warlord Dementus.” 

“As they move through the Wasteland, they come across the Citadel, which is run by the Immortal Joe.” Furiosa soon finds herself in a never-ending battle to get home as the two rulers fight for power. 

The Fury Road prequel was one of the most-anticipated premieres at Cannes this year. It got a six-minute standing applause, which made Chris cry a little. 

George Miller, the director, said, “We worked very hard on this film, and it’ll be very interesting to see what you make of it.” Thanks for having us. 

George came up with the idea for the Mad Max movie and has directed all five since 1979. 

Furiosa comes out in theatres in the US and UK on May 24.  

Warner Bros. hopes that Furiosa will make as much money as Fury Road ($380 million worldwide), but with a $168 million budget, it will have to do a lot of business to make money.

The movie Furiosa was filmed in New South Wales, Australia, from June 2022 to October 2022. 

Anya said on The One Show that that one scene in Furiosa took an amazing 78 days to film. 

Hollywood films are usually made in 30 to 120 days on average.

‘We shot it for 78 days, 78 days!’ Anya said about the scene as Chris joined her. 

“Yes.” The name is Stowaway. It was definitely the mountain we were all trying to get to.
