The flawless director of the horror movie, Michael Mohan, hinted to the climax, calling it “wild.”

The movie centres on Sydney Sweeney’s character Cecilia, a devoted nun who sets out on a pilgrimage at a secluded convent in the Italian countryside. But when it’s discovered that she is pregnant and that her new house contains a dark secret, her fresh start becomes a nightmare.

Sweeney and Mohan discussed the horrific movie in an exclusive interview with Digital Spy before of its debut in theatres on Friday, March 22. The two teased the film’s dramatic conclusion.

“We debuted it a few days ago at SXSW to an incredible crowd of 1,300 people,” Mohan stated. It was incredibly gratifying to have everyone applaud such a horrific scene during our last cut to black. The fact that this film, with its outrageous conclusion, is playing in suburban multiplexes really astounds me.

Sweeney continued, “I am very excited for the discussion.” That, I believe, is one of the main reasons I was so excited to do this film. I enjoy a film that sparks debate and provokes opposing viewpoints because I believe that’s what makes it engaging.

Speaking about her work as a producer on the movie, Sweeney disclosed that she will only take on projects that allow her to pursue her creative goals, stating: “It all depends.” The decision of whether or not to make something is based on a plethora of factors.

As she hosted the show with Sally Dynevor, Brenda Edwards, and special guest Sarah Ferguson from Coronation Street, Christine Lampard revealed a shocking revelation to Loose Women. When Christine revealed some startling news a few minutes into the show, the audience was in complete disbelief.

After an astounding 50 years, Corrie star Helen Worth has made the decision to walk off the cobbles. Filming for the film, which is slated to begin next month, will feature a significant plot point for the Platt family, with the actor portraying Gail Platt since 1974.

Christine broke the news after returning from a commercial break, saying, “First, some breaking news from Coronation Street.” The announcement has suddenly surfaced that Helen Worth, who has played Gail on the show for 50 years, will be leaving later this year.”

She said, turning to face Sally, “She’s a proper true Corrie legend, Sally.” Sally answered, clearly moved: “She truly is. Yesterday, Helen called to let me know. I didn’t anticipate that this would end on Friday,” the Express writes. With a playful smile, Christine stated: “We bided our time till you were broadcasting. Apologies, Sally. Sally, who has been a cast member of Corrie since 1986, shared her sincere emotions on her friend and coworker’s departure from the programme.

“We’re going to miss her so much,” she said. She is incredible.” Christine kept praising Helen, saying, “50 years… the very essence, Corrie’s DNA.” Without her in your thoughts, Corrie is unimaginable.” “No, absolutely not,” Sally affirmed, adding, “Helen was there before I started.” She served as my beacon of hope. She is an amazing actor, and I adore her.”

The crowd burst out laughing as the Duchess of York subtly alluded to maybe filling Helen’s shoes on the soap opera, adding a humorous touch to the conversation. All across social media, people were chatting about Helen leaving.

One viewer posted on X, which was once known as Twitter, saying, “Woah Gail leaving Coronation Street! #loosewomen.” In contrast, a disgruntled Corrie fan said, “Oh no #loosewomen.” A third person speculated: “If Helen Worth’s leaving then they’re definitely going to kill her off – after 50 years she’s not going to leave only to come back #loosewomen.”

“This year felt like the perfect time to leave the show after celebrating 50 years in the most wonderful job on the most wonderful street in the world,” Helen stated in a statement announcing her departure from Corrie.
