Sydney Sweeney and Johnny Depp will shortly be appearing in another significant project. According to Jeff Sneider’s newsletter The InSneider, Sweeney and Depp are supposedly starring in Marc Webb’s occult thriller Day Drinker.

In case you didn’t know, Webb is the well-known director of 500 Days of Summer and The Amazing Spider-Man.

Result Day Drinker, starring Sweeney and Depp, is reportedly a film that delves into the themes of love, friendship, and reve𝚗ge. Zach Dean’s original story served as the basis for it. Sweeney is set to portray a bereaved bartender coping with the loss of her partner, while Depp is expected to play an enigmatic stranger in the film.

After making her breakthrough in the film Euphoria, Sweeney proceeded to become the new leading woman of Hollywood. Her most recent picture, Immaculate, carries on the momentum she gained from her outstanding performances in Anyone But You and Madame Webb.

Johnny Depp’s most recent performance was as King Louis XV in the historical drаmа Jeanne du Barry, which was released in 2023. In addition, he is now filming a biopic on Italian artist Amedeo Modigliani. The film is reportedly in the post-production phase right now.

Day Drinker, if it works out, will be Johnny Depp’s first major undertaking following his 2021 legal dispute with ex-wife Amber Heard.
