Sydney Sweeney was seen on Wednesday in New York City wearing a darling little black Versace dress.

The 26-year-old star of Anyone But You paired her long-sleeved dress with black heels and silky black hose. The garment featured a zipper down the front.

Her freshly cut hair had an off-center parting and was slightly turned up at the ends.

The Euphoria actress headed to the Today show studio wearing black sunglasses after checking out of her hotel.  

The actress has been promoting Immaculate, her latest dark horror movie.

Sydney stated on Today that one of the reasons she accepted the part in Immaculate, which she also produces, is because she loves the horror genre so much.

Sydney brought her two grandparents to the Los Angeles premiere of her latest movie, where they were extras.

They were able to see me on set after I took them on a flight to Italy. She answered, “I made them extras as nuns.” “And after that, I took them to the Los Angeles premiere.” They were genuinely ecstatic. 

Her portrayal as a nun named Cecilia in the horror movie is a significant departure from her breakout smash in the romantic comedy Anyone But You.

It’s an intriguing story with a challenging character. I was a huge horror fan. It’s thrilling,” she said.

According to the synopsis, she plays “an American nun of devout faith, embarking on a new journey in a remote convent in the picturesque Italian countryside.” 

The synopsis continued, “Cecilia’s warm welcome soon turns into a nightmare as it becomes clear her new home harbors a sinister secret and unspeakable horrors.” 

The Washington native also cautioned viewers that the conclusion might not be widely accepted. 

I anticipate a range of responses, and that’s something I like. I enjoy it when films or their conclusions spark debates and discussions. 

She remarked, “I think it’s going to be a wild ride for some people.” We enjoy going outside the bounds. We had certain spots we wanted to visit.
